The NEWBASE system family is a complete solution suite for the recording, assessment, research and distribution of different media information. Our application modules can process information from the following sources:

The various application modules can be combined with one another. When these are supplemented with our evaluation and archival systems, you will have a complete system for the processing and management of media information for your customers or personnel which not only offers relevant information from print, the Internet, radio, television and other sources, but also an overview of the most recent information sourced from all the media.

NEWBASE Print is a system for creating press clippings through the input, classification and keywording of printed articles and for publishing them as a press or media review. It is conceived for businesses and administrations who wish to evaluate an easily manageable number of print media.

NEWBASE Print Services is a professional system for the semi-automatic processing of large amounts of information. The digital reading system, workflow functions and intelligent distribution systems make a high throughput of evaluated print articles and a rapid automatic delivery to clients possible.

NEWBASE Faxread can, in an entirely automated process, generate metadata from faxed information, such as press articles, before saving it in an archive along with the full text found. A keyword analysis allows the information to be pre-processed, so that automatic sorting can follow.

NEWBASE Newsread receives prepared press articles from news agencies, delivered by e-mail or FTP, for example. An optional neuronal classification system assigns the information to a topic or profile and assesses the content using keywords.

NEWBASE iSpider searches pre-defined news pages or web forums on the Internet at predetermined intervals to identify new or modified articles. The corresponding pages and available metadata are then downloaded and saved.

NEWBASE iSpider Enhanced does not save complete pages, but instead extracts individual articles from them. This means that unwanted elements such as advertising and navigation bars are not included; the article information can therefore be processed more effectively.

NEWBASE iWatcher runs completely automatically and registers changes to pre-defined Internet pages. Changes are presented in a "before and after" comparison. You will always be kept up-to-date when something happens at businesses, organizations, in advertising or your competition.

NEWBASE Broadcast is a system for the automated recording, monitoring and full text indexation of radio and TV reports. Speech recognition and other special display modules allow you to quickly retrieve reports, which can then be copied and distributed.

The NEWBASE Information Server is the central system in the NEWBASE product family for recording, storing, compression and delivery. NEWBASE IS stores media information in full text format such as printed matter, news reports, the Internet, radio and television regardless of their format.

NEWBASE MediaPortal presents all stored media data, irrespective of their source (printed media, the Internet, news agencies, radio and television) in the Intranet of your company or administration. The structured design and search functions guarantee rapid retrieval of the desired information. The Statistics module allows for differentiated accounting of licensed article usage with the licensor.
