Alchemy Base Products

Alchemy Gold is perfect for small work groups or businesses in which one
document manager can handle all the incoming files at a single input station. It
also provides read-only access for 1 to 25 users. And Alchemy Gold can run on
a Windows network or even a laptop; no server is required.

Alchemy Pro is the leading solution for service bureaus that manage documents
for customers via CD/DVD service, an Internet data service, or in hosted off-site
data vaults. And Alchemy Pro can be expanded with any of the other Alchemy products or extensions.

Alchemy Premium is a scalable, multi-user, Windows server solution. It's perfect for small enterprises and departments within medium or large companies. As your organization grows, you can easily add client licenses to handle increased data volume. All of the Alchemy extensions can be added to broaden Alchemy Premium's functionality.

Alchemy Extensions

Alchemy Web, an extension of Alchemy Premium and Pro offers a fast and easy way to deploy documents on the web. It provides immediate and secure access (which can be implemented through Windows NT authentication, anonymous logins or Alchemy specific usernames and passwords) from anywhere in the world while your documents are stored safely in their Alchemy repositories. Via the Internet users are able to search for, view, download, print and email documents as easily as if they were in the home office.

Alchemy MailStore solves the problems of email regulatory compliance and records retention by capturing email from Exchange or Outlook in a secure repository, so it can be selectively stored and managed as a record, and retrieved at any time. You can use MailStore for Exchange by itself, or combine it with the MailStore for Outlook. The result – a solution that keeps both the system administrator and the end users happy.

Alchemy Scan

Alchemy Scan allows you to interface with popular scanners to capture paper documents and create searchable text through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and barcode recognition. It also incorporates the ability to store the recognized data into profile fields in the repository. Alchemy Scan is also completely scalable providing a scan extension for small Alchemy Gold environments while working equally well when implemented with larger, multiple station installations of Alchemy Pro and Premium.

Alchemy Datagrabber

This extension utility offers high-speed capture and import of documents, data and COLD. Using a simple but powerful scripting language, Datagrabber parses these files into pages records and searchable profile data which can then be retrieved from your Alchemy database. Unlike other capture tools that use rigid predefined templates, Datagrabber is fully configurable, enabling it to handle irregular and complex information. Because of its flexibility Datagrabber is also the ideal tool for integration between systems.

Alchemy Audit Logging

Alchemy Audit Logging is an extension which enables repository administrators to keep track of document access and use. With Audit Logging you can keep a close watch on sensitive documents through the detailed tracking and generate fully customized reports on user activity. Administrators are also able to specify what specific events they wish to log.
